If you have a Word for me, then…

If you have a “Word from the Lord” for me, then give it. Don’t analyze it. Don’t over- think it. Don’t soften it. Don’t milk it. Don’t stretch it. Don’t add your explanation to it. Don’t sensationalize it. Don’t withhold it. I need it.If the Word from Father you have for me is a Word of correction, I need correcting. If the Word from Father you have for me is a Word of admonishment, I need to be admonished. If the Word from Father you have for me is a Word of reproof, I need to be reproofed. If the Word from Father you have for me is a Word of direction, I need to be directed. The Word of the Lord is not always going to make me fuzzy and warm inside. It will challenge me. It will make my flesh cringe most times. God’s Word will correct my errant behavior and lead me to Father’s path of righteousness. II Timothy 3:16 (Amplified) says “Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action)”. A true prophet of God will not withhold a Word from the Lord, even if they know it will pinch you when you hear it. They love you enough to let the pinch happen now than to let your heart be ripped out later. If you have a Word from the Lord for me, then give it. Neither shaken nor stirred. STRAIGHT UP, NO CHASER. (But if you can’t give it in love then… I will still receive it but tell Father on you )
