The Earth Suit
We will spend HOURS in the gym to sculpt and perfect our physique. We’ll search a mall looking for the perfect outfit or shoes to wear. We have no problems injecting weird substances into our Earth suit to fill it out, yet some of us shudder to go to church for a couple of hours every week. We starve the soul of God’s Word. We grow weak from lack of prayer, praise and worship. The Earth suit gets all the attention while the soul inside is gasping for precious air.
Stop, Yield, Go.
Stop thinking you are the center of the universe. Yield to God being bigger than anything you can imagine. Go put someone else’s needs before yours and reap the benefit of giving versus receiving. Stop and smell the roses God has planted for you to enjoy. Yield to the beauty life has to offer. Go

Exit: Pride
Pride will tell you to blatantly lie to yourself. It will whisper in your ear and say it’s unnecessary because you aren’t that bad. Pride will keep you from seeing a need to ask for forgiveness ON PURPOSE. It will say “God knows your heart. You don’t need to say anything because He already knows what you did.” Yet pride is a tool, a spirit of deception used by the enemy to further distance you from The Father.
Soul, Quiet Thee…
Prayer is TWO WAY COMMUNICATION. Yes, you should make you prayers and supplications to God. THEN, you should be quiet and let you soul wait on His answers. It may take moments, it may take days, but you should always wait to hear the voice of God respond to you when you are in prayer.
Forgiveness
Mark 11:25-26 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Forgiveness. Seems this word keeps coming up and back to me.
