Here’s the truth. One thousand and one ministers, teachers, evangelists, prophets and pastors are going to give messages, blogs, sermons and teachings on why Halloween is the devil’s holiday. And then they are going to host “Hallelujah” parties at their church and allow the children to dress up like “Bible characters”.
HUH?
Truly. It defeats the purpose of telling someone an event or “holiday” is evil and then give them permission to sanitize it to make it okay to celebrate it anyway. That’s one of the reasons why Halloween and I don’t get along.
Halloween is a such a satanic event that satanists considered it the “highest” day on their unholy calendar. Sort of how “Easter” is supposed to be that of the Christian calendar. A Christian believer celebrating this day in any shape, form or fashion is considered a big win in the book of satanists, witches and the occult. They are giddy with joy that they can continue to deceive millions of so-called Jesus believers into giving homage to their god. The fact that the citizens of the United States of America, who mostly identify as Christian, spent more than $9 BILLION dollars in sales in 2018 says that Halloween is very much celebrated in this country. It validates my point that Halloween is now set to surpass Christmas as the most celebrated holiday of the season. Really? We are (unwittingly) giving satan and his birthday celebration more rank than Jesus Christ’s birthday. Humph. Another reason why I can’t stand it.
My grandson is seven. We were in one of the big box stores (that rhymes with Ballmart) the other day and the store was filled to the brim with costumes, candy and Halloween decorations. He’s seven, so of course he was bombarded with the idea of dressing up for a day with his friends in first grade. He told my daughter he wanted to be some character
from some video game, and sure enough the costume hung from a hanger, right at his eye level. She told her son “I’m not buying you a costume. Have I ever bought you a costume?” In great confidence, he said in his most assured and manipulative voice, “ Yes. Yes you have.” My daughter, bless her heart, said to him that she had never bought him a costume but it was his unbelieving grandmother (father’s mother) who had indeed bought the costumes and she would NEVER buy him one. So to change his tactic, smart boy that he is, he told her that was okay, they could just buy some candy to give to his friends in the neighborhood. “After all Momma,” he said. “You told me it’s better to give than to receive.”
I hollared. Then I calmed myself down and I talked to my grandson.
I told him just the basics. We don’t celebrate Halloween because we don’t want to make Jesus unhappy. How would you like it if your friend said they love you but then celebrated the birthday of somebody who tried to kill you? I told Him Jesus is a jealous God and he doesn’t like to share His glory with anybody else. I told him how satan tried to use the day Halloween to make himself look just as important as Jesus, but the devil was never going to be like Jesus. I explained to him about the word tradition: a set of things people do just because it’s been done for a long time and everybody else wants to imitate what everybody else is doing. I told him we don’t follow the tradition of celebrating Halloween just because it looks fun and everybody else is doing it. I told him that yes, it is more blessed to give than to receive but we don’t have to wait for a certain day to give treats to his friends but we can be a blessing to our friends every day. I also told my precious grandson that God doesn’t want us to dress up like anyone else because He made us perfect just the way we are and we should never hide behind a mask of something or someone He didn’t design us to be.
He said in his perfectly sweet seven year old voice, “Okay. I get it. Can I get some bananas?”
Oh to have the innocence and honesty of a seven year old when it comes to our belief and understanding of what makes God happy and what makes Him sad. If we know that the celebration of this satanic holiday is an affront to the holiness, righteousness and sovereignty of God, no excuse, party, decoration or costume in the world would make us to want to celebrate this most unholy and evil day .
I could tell you the history of Halloween and the details behind jack-o’lanterns, bobbing for apples, trick-or-treating and masks. I could recite the statistics of how many babies, children and women go missing in order to perform ritual murders and abuse during the months leading up to October 31st. I can reveal the hidden agendas of covens, tribes, and satanic worshippers during this season. Nevertheless, I will not (yet; the book will be coming). Why not here? Why not now? Because, in my experience, no matter how much I teach, explain, reveal or plead, most people are going to try to justify to me why Halloween doesn’t mean “that” anymore.
I tell you what. If that logic stands, the premise that the original meaning of Halloween and the demonic and satanic purposes of this dreadful day no longer matter, then “that” means the power of the Cross no longer matters either. Jesus Christ died on the cross in Jerusalem around the same time in history 2000+ years ago that the Druids first performed Samhain (souən), the Celtic ceremony and rituals of sacrifice for their new year. Why do modern celebrants of Samhain still ascribe to the original intent of the day, yet believers refute that knowledge? How can satanists and the occult still accept the fact that this day is set apart to celebrate evil but Believers will brush it off? The passage of time has not negated the power of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. Neither has time made the evil of this world and sacrifices to demons less potent. If the people who actually celebrate Halloween still believe that demons and satan himself are still receiving “glory” on this horrible day, then obviously, it DOES still mean THAT today. Please do not fall into that deception.
The Word of God says in 3 John 1:11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God. Halloween is not the innocent, fun-loving excuse to dress up and party kind of day. That’s the fluff which will get you sucked into opening doors to things you don’t want in your life. Halloween is far more nefarious than candy corn. There is nothing, I mean nothing about this unholy day that can be done to make it clean in God’s eyes. It’s an affront to His holiness, no way around that. Please don’t make excuses and try to justify and sanitize the day to make it more “Christian”.
So, for the love of God, if you are going to participate in Halloween, if you are going to celebrate it, do it with your eyes wide open to the truth of the day. If you are going to dress up and go on, don’t let me stop you. Do you, boo.
