Why is it when some people ask me for prayer but I ask them what specific request should be made, they say “I don’t know, just pray for me.”?
I know some people are private and I know I am a prophetic prayer intercessor.
BUT.
I KNOW you have true desires and needs of the Father.
Is it because you are embarrassed to tell the truth? Is it because you think I might judge you because of what you are dealing with? Is it because there is so much going on in your life that you don’t know where to start? Is it because you don’t trust me to keep what I know about your life private?
The Bible says
“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” James 5:16 [Amplified]
There is healing when we are HONEST and confess to each other about what we’ve done and what we need from God. You just don’t know how your prayer request can bless someone else. Many people think they are the only one going through something dramatic or traumatic. Not so. That’s a trick of satan. he wants you to stay quiet and suffer in silence. That’s why God wants us to TALK to each other. I confess my faults to my WiseTribe all the time. Why? Because I know they are going to pray for me and we will all be healed and restored. When someone asks me if I want prayer, I tell them yes and I tell them what I desire of the the Lord. Why? Because there is power in agreement. Where two or three are gathered in the Name of Jesus, He is there in the midst of us being attentive to our prayers.
Let us pray for one another. Let’s be honest enough to tell the needs of our hearts and release the burdens in prayer. Together. Is that alright?
