Honor your mom (and those who stood in as mother) as often as you can. Not just this weekend but every chance you can. Show her what her assigned worth is in your life. Respect her input (even if you don’t agree or use it, at least respect it). Recognize her contributions to the world as a woman and not just as your mommy. Celebrate the mother who God chose to bring you through and to this world.
… For the life of me I could not understand how making promises with God weren’t solemn and sacred occasions in which the people should not be celebrating but rather should be quiet, sober and fully conscious of the ways and holiness of God.
