Favor

Favor.
You think it means God gives preferential treatment to His children. Don’t get it twisted. Stop dumbing it down to good parking spaces and perks at the grocery store.
Favor actually means God trusts you in difficult but meaningful situations.
It’s His belief in you to have faith in impossible times and exercise good judgment in the face of adversity.
Favor from God means you will be put in areas where you have no business being and letting Him work through you to receive the glory.
It means He’s putting you on display to show just how much Word you actually have in your heart and show in your actions.
That’s why the scripture says, “Do not let mercy and truth leave you. Fasten them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and much success in the sight of Elohim and humanity.” (Proverbs 3:3-4)
It’s the relentless pursuit of God, His mercy and truth that causes favor to blossom in your life.
Favor ain’t fair, and most times it don’t feel fabulous… why? Because you have to put your feelings aside and trust God with everything you have. He’s believing in you just as much as you’re believing in Him. That’s true favor.
