Welcome to GGMi commanding the week, a live recorded prayer to start out our new week by commanding our hearts, minds, and thoughts to align with the word of God. My name is Andrea and I’m the servant leader of Global Girl Ministries International.  I’m personally inviting you to join us every Monday morning at 5:30 AM central standard time to listen to a 10 to 15-minute prayer that will bring your thoughts, speech, and actions into alignment with the word of God. 

[00:00:35] There is power in speaking God’s own word back to him, he inhabits the praise and worship of his people, then shifts atmospheres in our favor. The wisdom and understanding of God are released, when we move out of our headspace and into the presence of the Lord by weekly decreeing the word over our [00:01:00] hearts, minds, and souls, we are inviting the Holy Spirit to take over and to do through us.

[00:01:05] What he knows is best for us. Plans of good for us to give us an expected in a future hope. Children of God, according to Job 22: 28, we have the authority and ability to speak decree, declare a thing, and it shall be established not only that, but the light of God will shine upon our ways. I can’t think of a better way for GG M I, our ministry, and our community to start out our new week then to take hold of the word, decree it over our lives, and unlock destinies in Christ Jesus. It’s my hope that while we are commanding the week together, corporately on Mondays, that you will be encouraged to pray and decree over your life [00:02:00] consistently. I don’t know about you, but I need the light of God to be a lamp, to direct my feet and a light to shine upon my path. I need the word of God to guide me into righteousness, holiness, and frankly what to do next in my otherwise ordinary everyday life.

[00:02:19] By commanding my week, I find that my life is no longer ordinary, but ordered by the supernatural, extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit to take me from merely existing into living and having life more abundantly. That’s the way I need my week to start. And I pray. That’s how you want yours to start off as well.
