Listen. Don’t become haughty in your deliverance. God delivered you from _____________. Now that you are “delivert”, don’t turn around and look down your nose at those who haven’t received their deliverance YET. What God delivered you from, He can deliver others from as well. He is no respecter of men. What He has done for you, He can and will do for others.
You were set free in _____________ area. SO WHAT? I mean, thank God for your deliverance but that doesn’t give you the right to look down your nose at others who haven’t received their healing yet. What about every other area? Are you perfect? Or are you still striving for perfection? Have you obtained total and complete deliverance? I venture to say, if you are reading this status, then you are still alive and you haven’t been perfected YET.
Yes teach, preach, share, witness to others. But do it without all the attitude of haughtiness and superiority I have been finding all over the place. I am happy for you that you have been set free from ______________., but that does NOT give you the right to be stuck-up about it. It was GOD who did it for you, not yourself, lest you get tempted to boast (again) about it to us lesser Christians/humans.Ugh! Haughty spirits are so deceptive because they masquerade as righteousness and holiness. Really people, they are self-righteous, religious spirits meant to deceive you into having a judgmental spirit.
WAKE up Family!!! Humility is the greatest mantle in the Kingdom. Above all other mantles, anointing, glory, titles or robes, I desire to be known as HUMBLE and SERVANT! I know I didn’t nor could ever deliver myself from evil.. I don’t want to be before the King of kings and have to explain to Him why I looked at so and so with my nose in the air. OR explain to Him why I looked down at such and such because they “should know better”. The truth is I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER when I was doing it but I was deceived. I should have acted better. I should have gone right when I went left. But MERCY kept me and GRACE enabled me to have victory over the enemy.
Arrogant deliverance is not a good look. James 5:16 says “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much..” In order to confess your trespass, you have to be willing to be open, humble and truthful in your deliverance process. When you are truly delivered in any area, God will give you the power to confess what you went through to help another person overcome it as well. Transparency, honesty, humility and love will be the catalyst for helping others overcome their own flesh and demons. It takes humbleness to pray for someone else. Not arrogance, haughtiness or pride.
Pride has no place in the Kingdom of God. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING we possess is because of the goodness and grace of God, including our deliverance. How can we take pride in our deliverance if we didn’t do anything to facilitate it? Humility. That’s a good look. Try it. Repent. Confess your fault of arrogance and pride to God and receive freedom from those deceptive spirits. Then help someone else who needs deliverance by sharing what you went through and praying for them. You BOTH will receive healing in this way. Remember, we aren’t rejoicing over the deliverance but rather we “… boast in suffering—knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Ruach ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 Tree of Life Version
