GO AHEAD. CALL ME SPOILED.
I don’t want to be like Ruth waiting on my Boaz.
Remember, Ruth was widowed, homeless, an illegal immigrant, and working in a pauper’s field for food.
I’m not knocking her. She’s the grandmother to King David. I just don’t want her experiences.
I want to be like Rebekah. Remember her? She was minding the business of her daddy’s house when, unbeknownst to her, the father of the heir was arranging the marriage of a lifetime just for her. The master’s most trusted servant was sent to find a woman worthy to become the heir’s wife. This servant prayed to find her and received wisdom on how to find her. When he found her, she was in position to speak the Word which confirmed she was the one. Although her family tried to delay her promise, she moved forward with confidence. The servant showered her with gifts and took her to the heir, who instantly fell in love. Rebekah was presented to her Isaac. (Read Genesis 24)
She became the grandmother to the 12 children of Israel too…
I’m waiting on my love story to start just like Mother Rebekah’s. While I’m working in my father’s house, I believe ABBA is desiring to make the marriage of a lifetime for me. The Holy Spirit is desiring the best for me, and has petitioned the Throne to seek me out for one of His sons. Abba is sending His servant, loaded with treasures and gifts to find me and bring me back to His heir. All I have to do is be in position to say what ABBA has placed in my heart in order to signal to the Servant that I am the one.
Yep. Ruth, go ‘head wait on your Boaz. I’ve been working in the field for way toooooo long.
My name is #Rebekah and I’m waiting on my #goldnosering
