If the only prophetic Word you receive is pleasing to your flesh, i.e. your husband/wife is coming; the Lord is blessing the labors of your hands; wealth and riches are in your house but you can’t/won’t receive the correction and rebuke, i.e. come out of unrighteousness; stop sleeping with that man; get your tongue under control then you don’t understand true prophecy and God’s love towards you.
God IS going to correct you and prune you from all unrighteousness. He is not going to allow you to continue in sin and prosper you at the same time. God the Father chastens those He loves. And NO it doesn’t feel good to your flesh and NO its not easy to hear. No unrighteous behavior or attachments are going to reside in His presence. Therefore, He wants that to end BEFORE you meet Him.
It’s time to submit yourself to ALL of God. Come out of the trap of only loving the part of God that “blesses” you. The true blessing is in the death of your flesh and becoming the image of Jesus’ righteousness BEFORE you pass away. Let God have His way and willingly allow Him to prune your life, destroy your sinful nature and correct your behaviors. The Prophet Jesus is going to root out, uncover and dig up your dirt before He plants and builds up your life. Let Him speak to you. Let Him have His way. Let Him speak life to your spirit and death to your carnality. It’s tight but it’s right.
