I think…I think a lot of people believe because they are saved that they are therefore innocent. selah (pause, think on that for a while) I don’t believe I’m innocent. I believe my sins are covered. There is a difference. To be innocent, I must have never committed an offense to begin with. Yet, not only did I commit the offense, most times I planned it out on purpose. I even had the nerve to try to hide the hand that committed the sin. OH NO I am not innocent. I am covered by the Blood of Jesus. His Blood is what makes my sins white as snow.
I should be found guilty. But the Blood… When I look over my life, and I think things over, all of my good days stink and can’t compare to the Sinless Son of God. My sins, the egregious and the terrible, cannot compare to the Holy and Righteous Jesus. I’m not innocent by a long shot. But I am so grateful that I am found not guilty by the Blood!
